Aliens

The word alien is derived from Latin word 'alienus' which means belonging to other. Aliens are referred as any creature born or raised in some other planets except earth. So the first question that pops in our mind while talking about aliens is that "Do aliens really exists?" And if they do, where are they? How do they look like? Are they dangerous? There is a lot of things we do not know about them which makes us more curious.

First of all lets discuss the existence of aliens. We believe we humans have explored all the parts of the earth, but we know very few things about outer space. The first spaceship to land on any other heavenly body than earth with mankind, Apollo 11 landed on the surface of moon on July 20, 1969 and Neil Armstrong became not only the first person to land on the moon but also the first person to land on any other heavenly body than earth. Apollo 11 remained on the surface of moon for 21 hours and 36 minutes in which time it is impossible to explore the whole moon.

Although any other living beings are not sent to any other heavenly body yet, many satellites have been sent to capture the photographs of different planets. Curiosity rover, sent by NASA, landed on the surface of mars on August 6, 2012 and since then it has been sending pictures of mars and scientists are doing researches on the basis of data sent by curiosity. So the main point is we have not explored the space yet. I guess what we know about space is may be 1% of total, although 1% of this big universe comes out to be a big thing.

The most accept theory, the biochemical theory of origin of life published suggests that the first life formed on earth i.e. chemoautotrops were evolved in reducing atmosphere of hydrogen, water, methane and carbon dioxide. We human beings and animals need oxygen and water to survive. We take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. That is the main reason why scientists and astronauts are searching for water and oxygen in space and heavenly bodies. But, does that mean all other living beings need water and oxygen to survive?

That is a big question for now for which most of the scientists don't have answer. But, wait here is one of my best theories. We human beings live on earth and during the development of first life on earth, it had very few amount of oxygen (or no oxygen at all) in it. So, first life was developed from hydrogen, methane, carbon dioxide and of course water in favorable condition of heat and light. After that, plants and small animals were evolved. So, in the same planet where you are reading this article, there are different types of living beings which can be categorized on the basis of different things like: 1. which breathe in oxygen and release carbon dioxide (animals and humans) and 2. which breathe in carbon dioxide and release oxygen (algae and plants during photosynthesis) or may be camel and cactus on one side which can live without water for long period of time and the rest which cannot live without water.

So, my point is may be may be we have some species in outer space which do not require water and oxygen to survive and they feed on some other gases and liquid or may be fuel, while we are searching for water and oxygen in space. May be their metabolism occurs in their own way with the help of the same fuel. Now does this mean that searching of water and oxygen in space is useless? Of course not, because this is done so that we humans can go there easily and make a civilization there, or at least it could be used for place to do experiments that are harmful and dangerous to do on earth.

Now, if aliens really exists, are they dangerous? Do they have special powers or abilities? Are they advanced than us? Well we can't say that for now, but there is something we can tell for sure. There is a highly secured restricted place named 'Area 51' located in southern portion of Nevada in the western part of United States. There are many conspiracy theories that this place is used by US government to do researches on the UFOs and aliens that have already landed on earth but we don't know yet (there is no proof for this sentence). It was told by NASA in October 2016 that the then president Barack Obama would let us know about the outer space before he would leave the white house i.e. 21 January, 2017 which already passed and we know nothing yet. However from this statement, we know that NASA knows something big about this topic that we don't know.

And yes that answers our question too. We have not been able to go to another planet yet. But if they have really are in earth that means their technology is far better than ours and yes they are advanced than us which may be dangerous for us if their intentions are not good. But this does not mean all the beings in space are advanced than us. For example, the civilization of Mars could have started faster than of ours making them advanced in technology and other things. However, the civilization of Jupiter could have just started today. So, we cant say anything until NASA says something. But we all know, waiting is boring, but what else can we do?
